Baby robin red breast

No sign of our baby yet with one day to go. However, in our garden, a baby robin took it's first steps out of the nest today and was trying to learn how to fly. I managed to film a short clip of him hiding in the corner of our back garden!

I particularly like his fluffy hair.

Yesterday afternoon, Lindz decided that the best way to trigger the start of labour was for us to go for a long walk. The plan she had was to walk in to town, have a coffee and a rest and then walk home. This would be approximately 5 miles in total. I thought this was a bit optimistic and I was right because once we reached the end of our road (100yds) Lindz got a stitch and we had to turn back shortly afterwards!

9 days to go?

Not much to report yet. We are still waiting for the baby to choose his moment of arrival. Yesterday morning, I woke up to find that he was having a fit of hiccups and Lindz was sleeping through the whole thing.
We took a leisurely walk round Jefferson Gardens this afternoon with the camera and a macro lens. Here are a few of the pics (click to enlarge):
